The Grand Prix classes are Dressage at its best. Grand Prix Freestyle to music is always a crowd favourite. This class runs over three days, with the Grand Prix on Thursday, the Grand Prix Special on Friday and the Freestyle on Saturday. With only 5 months to go before the opeining ceremony in London, the competition for Australian based riders is fierce and you will see the riders 'really going for it' with the Grand Prix Freestyle set to be a class to remember. Left - be ure to see the latest graduate to the highest level of the sport - the exciting imported mare Diamantina and Maree Tomkinson ... can they achieve another Olympic qualifying score?
The Stallion Showcase continues to impress with the extensive talent entered in this feature to be run on Saturday afternoon. The Showcase is open to all Stallions, there is no set criteria on size, breed and age - a good stallion is a good stallion - and you will see some of the best at D&JWTS in 2012. The field includes Fiderstern (pictured right, being sashed the Champion Senior Warmblood award at the AWHA Vic Gala Day on the 3rd March 2012). He was bred at the Bloomfield Farm in Victoria. Belcam Geldof from the Belcam Stud, Black Sterling Willem from the Wilcroft Friesian Horse Stud and Mulawa Bronze Wings from Mulawa Arabian Stud in NSW. Bronze Wings will also take part in the Young Dressage Pony classes ridden by Daniella Dierks.

There will be a Young Horses, judges, riders and trainers seminar with Dr Ulf Moeller (pictured left) from PSI (Performance Sales International in Germany) on Sunday 25th March. Dr Ulf has been an inspirational "guiding light" to Australian performance horse breeders, trainers, riders, judges and general enthusiasts and he will work with several of our guest judges and invited young horses in a clinic focusing on the training of young horses. This is a must for those looking to better understand the requirements of preparing and showing horses and ponies in Young Horse classes and Ulf's interest and input has helped Australian enthusiasts to improve greatly. Tickets for this "must see' feature of the event available to purchase at the Silver Door on Sunday – no allocated seating.
PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars will be held at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre from March 22 – 24, 2012.
